Lift Truck Instructor Training

The Lift Truck Instructor training course provides candidates with the skills to prepare and examine operators for working with lift trucks in accordance with best practice. Courses are available at Forklift Pioneer Training Birmingham or on your site.

By the end of the Lift Truck Instructor course candidates will:

• Demonstrate their instructional ability to conduct practical lessons using appropriate practical instructional skills

• Demonstrate their instructional ability to conduct in-class lessons using appropriate classroom instructional skills

• Discuss their associated knowledge of health and safety, legislation, instructional skills, candidate selection and practical skills testing

• Prepare, schedule and deliver an appropriate operator training course, working independently under workplace environment conditions

• Prepare, set up and conduct a Basic Operating Skills Test

Meet the eligibility requirements for the chosen course

• Have significant experience as a Counterbalance Operator. We recommend a minimum of 6 months experience

• Have good communication skills

• Have the confidence to present to large and small groups of their peers

• The RTITB & ITSSAR Lift Truck Instructor Courses provides candidates with the skills to deliver lift truck operator training and assessment

• Become a Qualified Forklift Instructor
